ACT YOUNG LIBERALS

The ACT Young Liberals are a centre-right movement of young adults who stand with and support the values of the Liberal Party in the ACT.

Being a member of the ACT Young Liberals affords a variety of opportunities. From campaigning and supporting the Canberra Liberals in the ACT and Liberals fighting for values in our Federal Parliament; to networking, policy and social events.

As ACT Young Liberals we believe in:

• The Crown;

• Basic freedoms of thought, worship, speech, association and choice;
• The family unit as the primary institution for fostering the values on which a cohesive society is built;

• The rule of law, and giving all citizens equal rights under the law;

• Equal opportunity for all Australians;

• Independence, private property, and personal responsibility;

• Competitive enterprise, consumer choice and reward for effort;

• Liberalism with its emphasis on the individual and enterprise;

• Australia playing a constructive role in the pursuit of international peace.
